N8 Agrifood Conference
台湾妹娱乐中文网,台湾佬娱乐网We attended the N8 AgriFood Conference in York (October 2019) to find out about tackling the global challenges of sustainable food production, resilient supply chains and improving nutrition and public health through collaborative approaches to research and lobbying.
We sponsored the prize for the best conference poster. We were pleased to award winner Nadine Luc with an article processing charge (APC) waiver for Emerald Open Research for her poster “Community Projects Using Surplus Food For Well-Being”. Congratulations Nadine!
Impact case study
台湾妹娱乐中文网,台湾佬娱乐网Continuous reliance on bottled water over the past 30 years has become a major global issue, as discarded plastic blights on our environment. Reducing the amount of water consumed is imperative, but we need to understand why people use bottled water and how to change ingrained cultures.
台湾妹娱乐中文网,台湾佬娱乐网Associate Professor Beth Choate and Assistant Professor Brittany Davis – from the Environmental Science & Sustainability department at Allegheny College – along with 20 second-year students, have led a project to reduce bottled water usage on their campus.
